Job Description
The Wind Shop is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support the inspection and evaluation of brass and woodwind instruments. This role ensures instruments meet our performance and craftsmanship standards before reaching customers. Full-time availability is preferred, but all applicants are welcome. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where continuous improvement, efficiency, and craftsmanship are valued. Key Responsibilities
Inspect brass and woodwind instruments for quality, consistency, and playability
Accurately enter, update, and verify data in company systems
Follow standardized procedures and accurately document findings
Collaborate with the team to support continual improvement of QC processes
Maintain an efficient, organized workflow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Proficiency with at least one wind instrument preferred
Repair experience not required; training provided
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Self-motivated, focused, and driven to support team goals
Willingness to learn and apply standardized work practices
