The Sales Representative at S.E. Shires Company is responsible for driving showroom sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience for brass musicians. This role serves as the front line of customer engagement while supporting direct-to-consumer sales, sales operations, and brand presence. The position works closely with the Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing leadership to support revenue goals, maintain showroom excellence, and represent the Shires brand with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Manage inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and instrument specifications through phone, email, and company communication channels
Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. This includes working closely with professional musicians, educators, and other key stakeholders in the brass community.
Manage customer correspondence from inquiry through post-sale follow-up ensuring satisfaction throughout the purchasing process.
Maintain wholesale/retail customer profiles; manage open orders and back-orders
Maintain showroom standards, including inventory accuracy, monthly checks, and professional product presentation
Execute day-to-day S.E. Shires social media activity, including content capture, posting cadence, audience engagement, and promotion of products and artists in alignment with brand standards and marketing direction
Support direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales including order coordination and fulfillment communication and assist in identifying opportunities to improve online conversion and customer clarity
Provide routine pricing, availability, and order status information to the external sales team and dealer network.
Represent S.E. Shires Co. at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building relationships with new and existing clients and promoting the company’s instruments.
Qualifications
Exceptional customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of the brass instrument market and professional musician needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using CRM, accounting, and inventory systems 
Professional fluency with social media platforms and brand-aligned communication
Ability to travel nationally for trade shows and industry events
